Amplify Studios

Amplify Studios is a new creative arts programme from the Rugby Portobello Trust. Our goal is to provide alternative education, creative enterprise and job procurement. We are encouraging young people to explore and grow their creative outlets in a safe and inclusive environment.

We want Amplify Studios to be a powerful tool for change: a safe haven that removes barriers to entry and allows young people to develop their strengths and nurture their passions. Music, visual arts, technology and practical business skills are at the heart of this venture and we are working with young people to introduce and nurture these passions. We are building a crossover of professional and amateur experiences to provide enhanced job skills and future opportunities in the creative industries.

Through Amplify we have been running a series of workshops, masterclasses and hands-on experiences as well as offering young people training opportunities. We are aiming to build on these past successes this year and help more young people to find their path.

Amplify Programmes

Building on our past successes, we are excited to introduce new programmes that further expand opportunities for young people to explore and showcase their talents:

DJ Workshops – Hands-on sessions where aspiring DJs can learn the art of mixing, beat-matching and performing live.

Beats & Bars – A workshop designed to help young people write, record and perform their own music, giving them the skills and confidence to develop their unique sound.

Digital Creative Workshop – A masterclass focused on digital storytelling, content creation and production for platforms like TikTok, equipping young people with the skills to engage audiences in the digital age.

Through a combination of workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on experiences, Amplify Studios continues to grow as a hub for creativity, self-expression, and career development. Whether you’re a budding musician, a digital storyteller, or an aspiring entrepreneur, Amplify is here to help you explore your passion and take the next step in your creative journey.
