Forging new partnerships

Lockdown has brought many local charities closer together in our community in and around North Kensington, forging closer links and partnerships as we try to maximise our impact:

  • RPT are now part of the North Kensington Youth Collective, working with the Dalgarno Trust, Harrow Club and London Sports Trust to deliver a RBKC-funded contract providing a range of new opportunities for young people from the Lancaster Road Youth Hub.
  • RPT are one of a number of ‘Health Partners’ working with the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group in RBKC to improve communication around health messages, build resilience and support GPs in referring people to our programmes.
  • RPT are working with the Dalgarno Trust on a new intergenerational digital inclusion project whereby young people will train families on IT skills.
  • RPT are also very excited to be enhancing our partnership with Rugby School, who founded the Rugby Clubs in 1884, on the site where RPT are today. As part of their community activities, a group of their pupils are now supporting our Homework Club children online two days a week.
  • P3 have been providing financial support to the incredible work of Bay 20, who have been distributing hot food to some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community throughout the pandemic.

Christmas cheer

We are working with other local charities as part of the ‘What if Christmas’ campaign to provide Christmas presents and engaging events for families and individuals, and are one of the distribution centres. If you would like to get involved with volunteering or donations, please read more here: www.whatifchristmas.com.

We would like to thank Chepstow House School for their incredible shoe box and hamper donations for the children at RPT - we have had over 200 boxes donated this year (pictured below), brightening up Christmas for so many children.

Last year, pupils from The Harrodian came together with RPT to produce a Christmas song. We’re all in need of a little Christmas cheer, so click here to listen! https://youtu.be/pl852KwGm9E
