Services suspended due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

The situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) has progressed rapidly. We have kept a close eye on developments and have taken the difficult decision to suspend our services until further notice.

The Rugby Portobello Trust is a community hub that welcomes people from all across North Kensington and beyond, and it is for this reason that we feel we must now close our centre in order to protect the safety and wellbeing of our service users, volunteers, staff and supporters. All in-house services , including off-site football sessions, are suspended from Wednesday 18 March (no services to take place on 18 March). Our office will close at 5pm on Wednesday 18 March.

Our Play Centres operating at primary schools will continue as long as schools remain open or as long as essential staffing numbers can be maintained. Should this change, all parents will be contacted via MagicBookings. Our Easter Play Centre scheduled to take place at Avondale Primary School will be cancelled. 

Our Man Cave, Boy Cave and Athena programmes operating in schools will continue as long as schools remain open or essential staffing numbers can be maintained.

As well as impacting our services, the coronavirus has had an impact on scheduled events including our Brain Game, the Beach Party at Hilton London Kensington and our Volunteers Party. These are all actively being rescheduled and we will be in touch with all guests once details are confirmed.
