Every year for the past 36 years, the Brain Game has brought our community together for a lively evening of fun, connection and competition. This much-anticipated quiz night and dinner is a cherished tradition, celebrating the invaluable work of the Rugby Portobello Trust and supporting vital programmes for children and young people in North Kensington, and we're pleased to confirm the event will be returning to RPT on Wednesday 7 May 2025 from 7pm - 11pm.
The Brain Game is no ordinary quiz. It is a night where teams gather their smartest and most competitive friends to battle it out in a notoriously challenging general knowledge contest. With friendly but fierce competition between the neighbours of North Kensington, it is an evening guaranteed to keep everyone on their toes.
We are thrilled to welcome back the incomparable Richard Hilliard as our esteemed quizmaster. Known for his wit and charm, Richard has been at the heart of the Brain Game experience, ensuring the evening is both entertaining and expertly hosted. Teams will be vying for the honour of being crowned Brain Game Champions and taking home the coveted William Fitzhugh Cup—a title that brings with it both pride and prestige.
From its humble beginnings over three decades ago, the Brain Game has grown into a beloved community tradition. It is more than just a quiz; it is a night where friendly competition meets meaningful impact. Over the years, the generosity of attendees and supporters has helped fund essential services, from educational opportunities to mentoring and youth support programmes, making a tangible difference in the lives of young people in our community.

Tables seat eight team members and tickets include a pre-quiz drinks reception and two-course dinner. Guests can purchase wine at our bar, take part in our luxury raffle and make donations that will be DOUBLED by our match-funders. The event aims to raise £30,000 of unrestricted funding for RPT's children's and youth programmes.
