RPT FC Fun Run returns after two year break

After a two year Covid-hiatus, the annual RPT FC Fun Run returned on 8 July, welcoming the players and families of our Football Academy for a day of running, matches and fundraising in support of the academy.

We were joined by more than 85 players and even more parents, siblings, families, friends and neighbours who got to help to help our players raise more than £5,800 in support of their team. 

Our coaches retained their title, beating the parents in their friendly matches while our players took on the summer heat for a gruelling 20 laps around Avondale Park.

We finished the day with an awards ceremony to congratulate all of our players for their tremendous work this year, giving special mention to our MVPs and MIPs.

It was a great way to mark the start of our summer season of tournaments and even better to finally be back together for such a special event.
